Privacy Policy

Daily Vlog is designed to keep your video journal private and under your control.

Overview

Daily Vlog does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking. The app does not send your clips, Vlogs, or usage data to a server operated by Mizuno.app.

Camera and microphone

Camera and microphone access is requested when you open the camera and is used to record video and sound. Recordings are stored on your device unless you choose optional iCloud protection or export them.

Location

Approximate location is optional and used while Daily Vlog is open to convert the current area into a short place label. Daily Vlog does not retain raw latitude or longitude after creating the label.

Photos

Daily Vlog requests add-only Photos access only when you choose to save an exported Vlog. It does not use this permission to read your photo library.

iCloud Drive

If you enable iCloud protection, Daily Vlog copies completed-day original clips and a manifest to your own iCloud Drive. This is controlled by your Apple ID and Apple’s iCloud terms. Mizuno.app cannot access these files.

Retention and deletion

Your clips and Vlogs remain on your device until you remove them. Protected originals remain in your iCloud Drive until you delete them there or through Daily Vlog. Removing a confirmed protected local copy to free space is separate from permanent deletion.

Third parties

Daily Vlog includes no advertising or analytics SDK. Bundled instrumental music plays locally and does not contact a music service. Apple services may process data when you use iCloud Drive, Photos, location services, or App Store distribution, according to Apple’s policies.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version and effective date will be posted on this page. Material changes will also be communicated in the app or App Store listing when appropriate.
